Potomac College works diligently to create an environment appropriate to adult learning. The curriculum at Potomac College has been designed to be firmly grounded in the realities of the workplace. We supplement traditional classroom lectures with participatory learning activities and workplace projects; integrating your work responsibilities with theory and practical applications to help you achieve your goals.
Our eighteen (18) month program can facilitate your completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in Management or Information Systems Management, while attending classes on Saturdays or two (2) evenings per week.
The credits you earn in your Management or Information Systems Management major consist of a winning combination of theory and applied research courses, culminating with a capstone project. It is possible to earn six (6) credits every six (6)weeks.
Information Technology
Designed to provide students with the ability to design and implement computer-based information systems for business and government. Included are an understanding of programming concepts, the fundamentals of hardware selection and design, the basics of networking, and the assessment and implementation of software packages.
Information Systems Management
Designed to provide students with the ability to manage the information resources of an organization. Included are an in-depth understanding of both management principles and the fundamentals of information systems so students can function effectively in both worlds.
